Anika Moa has already made New Zealand rock 'n' roll history. Three years ago, while still at school in Christchurch, Anika entered the 'Smokefree Rockquest'. Now she has a record deal with Warner Music in New Zealand and Atlantic Records in New York – the home of "Jewel & Matchbox Twenty". Anika has just completed her debut album "Thinking Room". That's an extraordinary leap for any artist - but it is the first time a New Zealand act has ever been signed direct to a major International record company without establishing a career at home first.
