about Destination
regulations
Before you jump in your car and head for the hills there's a few things you should know...
FIRE BAN : There will be a total fire ban as usual, this includes gas burners and lanterns.
Weather : Destination is situated between two mountain ranges so if it is cloudy and raining in Christchurch, it is most likely fine on site!
Health & Safety : We have a team of Health & Safety personnel and St Johns Ambulance backed by paramedics. As usual the Canterbury High Country Fire Team will be keeping an eagles eye over Destination. Destination does not condone the use of any illicit substances. At Destination be responsible for your own actions and be nice humans.
Security : Anyone 'sneaking in' or with a forged ticket will be photographed and will be banned for life from Destination. Tickets must be purchased from an official Destination outlet. Destination is well known as a safe environment backed by a friendly but firm security team.
Access : Gates open Midday. All cars, 4WD's and house trucks must first check in at our official entry/car park. Depending on weather, it is our wish to drive all vehicles directly to the camping ground only two minutes walk from the party zone. $5 road pass per vehicle, road pass must be displayed at all times. Otherwise track access from car park no.1 will be illuminated. Please drive slowly and carefully. The organisers take no responsibility for damaged vehicles.
Photography : We get hounded about this one but we feel too many cameras and digital recordings can be a 'bit in your face'. And all we want is to create a really comfortable feeling. Please understand and respect this wish. Any photographic, filming or audio recording is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from Destination.
PLEASE NOTE: As there is no EFTPOS or money machines available onsite, we recommed you please bring cash with you.
